A mobile service designed to help anyone frustrated by diverse and complex laundry methods (such as students who started an independent life recently). If you scan the barcode/laundry label, we will suggest the optimal washing method that makes laundry much easier and more convenient!

IDEATION
Have you ever experienced ruining your favorite clothes due to improper laundry methods? Incorrect washing can cause clothes to deform, stain, and deteriorate. Moreover, it can lead to mold growth on clothes, potentially causing respiratory or skin issues. 'Dr. Cleaner' can answer questions about learning unfamiliar laundry techniques quickly!
DEFINE
USER INSIGHTS
For some people, laundry is a stressful and challenging thing. As cooking, washing clothes also requires several steps and supplies, and there are several ways to wash each cloth depending on its fabric. However, there is no place to teach laundry recipes for each fabric. Therefore, because of incorrect laundry, people have experienced the ruin of their favorite clothes by reduced sizes or smudged clothes.
"HOW MIGHT WE GUIDE PEOPLE ON THE RIGHT WAY TO LAUNDRY FOR EACH CLOTH DEPENDING ON THEIR CHARACTERISTICS AND HELP TO PROTECT BOTH CLOTHES AND THE ENVIRONMENT?"
DEFINE
The most significant inconvenience they felt was the hassle. They expressed dissatisfaction with the stress caused by the varied laundry methods based on different fabric types, the specific detergents required for each material, and the laundry symbols that differ from country to country. Therefore, we pondered how to resolve these inconveniences and found the following solutions.
GOAL
The main thing we pay attention to is 'easy to use.' The mobile app 'Dr. Cleaner' was created to help people unfamiliar with laundry and who need a place to get correct and perfect laundry for each item of clothing.
TARGETS
All people unfamiliar with laundry who need a place to get correct and perfect laundry ways of clothing should be the main target of Dr. Cleaner. For example, college students who start to live alone and retired men with zero experience in laundry will be the perfect target of the product.

After the user scans and recognizes the laundry symbols inside the label of the laundry item, based on the recognized symbols, it provides and stores the correct laundry methods, and the stored data will be utilized for future laundry guidance.

RECOMMEND THE BEST LAUNDRY METHOD
FOR SELECTED CLOTHES
If you want to know the common laundry method for several clothes, just select the cloth you want to know by clicking 'add to basket' and 'start laundry.' So then 'Dr. Cleaner' will recommend the best laundry method for selected clothes and announce the warning if there is a prohibited cloth.

EVALUATION
POTENTIAL DEVELOPMENT
WHAT I LEARN
Working in a group was certainly a good experience with many advantages, but the key point is that is it continuing well together or not. This project, carried out as a team, was also an excellent opportunity to grow for me. In particular, what I learned the most from this project was how to manage time and people effectively when working as a team leader.
Due to the contest (ideathon) during the semester, we had to proceed it with studying, so it was impossible to having a meet regularly. Therefore, it took more time to develop ideas than expected. In addition, as we were unable to have direct meetings, the will of the team members gradually declined. As a team leader, I thought about how to proceed with the project more effectively and increase the participation of each team member. I chose to distribute work to each member according to their characteristics and strengths so that they could work responsibly with their tasks. Thankfully, the method I chose was very effective. The participation of the team members increased by understanding clearly what to do precisely, resulting in the project progressing faster. ​

As a result, I could learned the importance of effective communication, task delegation based on strengths, and fostering a supportive environment. Challenges arose due to diverse skill levels, but through patience and encouragement, I navigated them, emphasizing learning and collaboration for success.
